May 3rd - May 25th “THE CREATIVE TENSION”
Former Lowell artist, Barbara Gagel, now living in Santa Fe, and New York sculptor, Karen Kettering Dimit, bring unique and differing visual formats to the perception of conflict and opposition in “The Creative Tension”. Ayer Lofts Gallery will be hosting this show of painting, encaustic work, and sculpture for the month of May.
Using symbolic shapes and forms that represent the artists’ personal experiences, the images ponder concepts of polarity. Life and death, body and spirit, physical and metaphysical relate to everyman’s engagement with finding balance in the tension of life.
